PERSONAL STATEMENT ON EDUCATION

My personal philosophy for student learning is that all students should have the opportunity to learn in a safe, happy, supportive and caring learning environment - enabling all students to reach their full potential through the development of a desire for lifelong learning.

I believe the use of information and communications technologies (ICT) should be an integral part of students’ everyday practices and curriculum activities.

Through the use of eLearning students should be encouraged to assume greater responsibility for their own learning and utilise forums which develop skills in the following ways:

• to become active and independent leaders
• to develop abilities to communicate, collaborate, plan, analyse and solve problems
• Develop confidence in the use of future technologies

My goal is to prepare students to be the future leaders in a technological world.

Topics include using MS SharePoint in Schools.
